Lord Darth Vader, Star Wars (A New Hope)
Although George Lucas's classic Star Wars premiered in the USA in 1977, it wasn't until 1979 that fans from Poland were able to see it in local cinemas. Full of dazzling special effects and fairy-tale romance, this unique movie immediately captured the imagination of Polish science-fiction and fantasy fans.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Star Wars in Poland. The StarForce 2009 convention will commemorate this special anniversary.
